ThePainStore.com was launched in March 2009. Being in pain is difficult, and as the
founder of this site, I know what you are going through. And, I want to share what I have learned with others.
Why ThePainStore.com? Having dealt with pain for
over seven years, I was finally diagnosed with Intractable Pain in 2007.
Intractable Pain is chronic pain that is so severe, it's disabling, and

After about a year of trial and error with different medications, I got
my pain under control, with the help of my miracle-working pain doctor.
My pain is at a level that is manageable enough to carry on in my 'new'
life. I was so thankful, I decided I had to act.
Helping others in pain has become a passion for me. I hope this site helps you find a way to manage your pain, whatever the cause. I know as well as anyone, that even an hour of pain is agony. Finding a way to lessen it, to cope with it, to survive it, is
vitally important for anyone who deals with pain.
Not every pain management technique works for
every person, but it's important to keep going. Find what works for
you--then find ways to improve upon those things. Most importantly, find
your way to a 'new' life, no matter how different it may be from what
you're used to. It's about more than surviving -- it's about finding a
way to THRIVE, in spite of your pain!
I am thankful for my doctor, good friends and
fellow pain sufferers who have supported me through some of the hardest
moments in my life. If I can give back a little of what I have
